Cycle of Hope 2025 is coming up on Sunday, October 19th, and we can't wait to show our athletes a fantastic day. Of course, with hundreds of cyclists joining us in Dublin to #BikeToBuildHomes, it takes a lot of hands on deck to pull off an event of this scale. And as with all things Habitat, we rely on our amazing volunteer community to make it all happen.
We have volunteers supporting every aspect of Cycle of Hope, from pre-event prep all the way through breaking down the final canopy at the end of ride day. If you can spare some time on your sunny Sunday, you could pitch in on Habitat's biggest fundraiser of the year — and know your time means real impact in our community.
Here are 3 critical places we need help at Cycle of Hope this year, and how you can lend a hand:
Have a motorcycle? You can join Cycle of Hope, too! As a Motorcycle Marshal, you'll ride along with the cyclists on route, helping keep them on their course, while monitoring and reporting out on their status to the event team. We want to make sure all our cyclists are pedaling strong for the finish, and your help will be crucial in ensuring their safety!
Interested? Just reach out to our Volunteer Team at Volunteer@HabitatEBSV.org to let us know you'd like to support us as a Motorcycle Marshal!
Want to support us as an event volunteer? Sign up for shifts throughout the day here.
Help is needed along the course to help keep riders on track and provide them with refreshments — and encouragement — as they ride towards the ultimate finish line, a world where everyone has a decent place to live! Course Marshals are stationed along the course at key navigation points, making sure cyclists are pedaling in the right direction. These are vital roles that keep our riders safe and headed toward a very well-earned finish line festival!
Ready to pitch in as a Course Marshal? You can see and sign up for assignments throughout the day and in various locations here.
However you support Cycle of Hope — as a volunteer, spectator, donor, or rider (registration remains open until ride day!) — you're supporting a fun, unique way that everyone can do something signficant about the housing crisis.
