November Construction Update

Written by Habitat for Humanity East Bay/Silicon Valley | November 17, 2023

While autumn transforms our landscapes, our volunteers are hard at work transforming dreams into reality! See what’s changing out on our construction sites this month.

Under Construction
Walnut Creek - New Home Development, Esperanza Place

All buildings are receiving interior finishes, and the parking lot paving is now complete. Once underground utility work is wrapped up, we’ll get started on sidewalks and concrete detailing. The upcoming tasks include site concrete work and landscaping!

In order to meet our year-end completion goal for Phase 1, we need plenty of help!

Calling on all volunteers to join us - let's make it happen together!

Volunteers are needed at Esperanza Place to help us stay on schedule! Whether you come out to make new friends or bring some old ones, join us on site for an impactful day supporting Habitat for Humanity.

Coming Soon
San Jose – Renovation, 4th and Reed

Soil remediation and asbestos removal are finished. That means we are on to foundation work! While we can’t bring in volunteers yet due to safety, we can’t wait to see you on site in San Jose soon. Keep an eye out for updates when those opportunities become available.

Bay Point - New Home Development, Pacifica Landing

This project is on the verge of breaking ground - almost there! We're awaiting final map approval, and once that's in place, we'll be set to build. We’re excited to start the new year with this new volunteer opportunity, so stay tuned in early 2024!
