We are launching a FREE financial education workshop series! Every first Saturday of February through April, join us for a 2-hour workshop designed to help you gain the practical knowledge and skills you need to manage finances and meet your goals.

  • Managing Income & Expenses/Setting Goals and Priorities
  • Savings Strategies

Learn how to take control of your expenses, identify financial values and personalities, set SMART financial goals, and create a budget that works for you. This workshop also reviews how to set priorities to achieve your financial goals, start the savings habit, and strategies to cut down on expenses.

  • Credit Reports and Credit Scores/Credit Repair/Building Credit
  • Keeping Debt Under Control/Protecting Your Investment 

Would you like to learn how to read a credit report and understand credit scores? Learn what is included in a credit report, the FICO scoring model and what impacts it, how to pull your free credit reports, how to build positive credit, and more. We will also review the true cost of purchasing with credit and how carrying large amounts of consumer debt endangers financial security.

  • Identity Theft/Consumer Scams and Predatory Lending
  • Record-Keeping for Homeowners

Learn how your identity can be used and how ID theft can happen, how to protect yourself, what to do if you are a victim of ID theft, and how to identify signs of predatory lending. We will also review recordkeeping for homeowners including: closing documents, managing important papers, and what to keep and for how long.
