We're juggling the old and the new at these four affordable condos in San Jose! Volunteers are helping us preserve unique historic elements on this century-old building, while installing modern touches that will make these homes energy efficient and equipped for the future. We're also juggling wet weather and fair weather! On rainy days, our volunteers have been painting the interior trim, while on dry days, we're using those helping hands outside on the storage shed and the deck. It's all about siding at Sequoia Grove these days—which means it's prime time to get your group out to site or to pitch in on your own! Siding is a great task if you'd love to learn a new skill, collaborate with your fellow volunteers, and see a huge difference on these houses when you leave at the end of the day.
Aside from the siding, there's some work happening in the kitchens, as well as some exterior trim work.
All that is to say—there's plenty to do on the construction site, and we'd love your help!
