40th Anniversary Dream Maker: Patelco Credit Union

In the 40 years we've been building in the East Bay and Silicon Valley, we've had the best possible tool in our toolbox: community. Everything we've accomplished has been done in partnership with the people and organizations who come together with a dream of how the future can be — and the determination to build it.  

Our 40th anniversary sponsors are going the extra mile to build that future, particularly our Dream Makers who have made an especially deep investment to honor this milestone year. One Dream Maker celebrating with us this year is Patelco Credit Union.

Patelco Credit Union has its own decades-long history of serving the area, focused on buildings its members' financial health and well-being. As a not-for-profit financial cooperative, they're no strangers to a values-driven, community-centered ethos. And they know well what affordable homeownership can mean for a family's financial and overall wellness. It's why when they began partnering with Habitat in 2013, it felt like a natural fit.

From construction team building days to event sponsorships — including being our Presenting Sponsor for Cycle of Hope since 2018 and its host since 2023 — and from the Playhouse build to the Housing & Financial Counseling classroom, Patelco Credit Union has showed up time and again for us over the years.
