Sequoia Grove, New Home Development - Hayward
Sequoia Grove is looking fantastic! Volunteers have been hard at work all over site, with some working inside on finishing touches like closet poles and touch-up paint and punchlist items, while others are outside weatherproofing the fencing, finishing up the planter boxes, and trenching for irrigation. That means that soon, we'll see irrigation installed, paving on the horizon, and then get into the work of landscaping.
There's still time and plenty of work to do, so get a group together and come out for a team building experience that can't be beat. And as always, you can join us on your own and pitch in. We'll have everything you need for a great day on site.
Esperanza Place, New Home Development - Walnut Creek
Phase 2 is under way at Esperanza Place in Walnut Creek! We have a few volunteer opportunities out on site as we prepare for our big Build-A-Thon next month, which will really jump start this final phase of construction and kick off volunteerism in style.
That's right—Build-A-Thon is back! This one is extra special, as we're celebrating our 40th anniversary with this long-loved Habitat tradition.
