As the sun shines brightly upon us, we're thrilled to share exciting updates on our summer construction projects! Plus, don't miss out on the chance to make a difference in someone's life and build lasting memories this summer. We've got fantastic opportunities for you to roll up your sleeves and get hands-on. Together, we're building hope, love, and stronger communities.

Under Construction
170A8232Walnut Creek - New Home Development, Esperanza Place

Seventeen future homeowners are well on their way to homeownership at Esperanza place! We are in the process of completing selection for the final six homes of phase one.

As for construction, the parking area will be completely paved by September's end. We have added the finishing touch to the interiors with the installation of windowsills, creating cozy and welcoming living spaces. The door trims have gone up, enhancing the overall look of each room and ensuring a polished finish. The siding work is under way, the exterior painting phase is in full swing, the kitchens are in the process of being framed, and our skilled team is focusing on the tubs, ensuring the bathrooms will be both functional and comfortable for the future homeowners.

Coming Soon
San Jose – Renovation, 4th and Reed

Great news! Our soil management plan has received the green light, and we have our encroachment permits in-hand! Over the next few months, Habitat staff will be rolling up our sleeves to dive into soil remediation, underground utility work, and lowering the building onto its new foundation. Site mitigation will begin in September and the foundation in October. Once these two processes are complete, volunteers will be welcome on site!

Bay Point - New Home Development, Pacifica Landing

We are ready to break ground on this project once we receive the go-ahead from the county's Board of Supervisors on our final map. With their approval, site work will commence, and we anticipate welcoming volunteers to the new site by October! Stay tuned.
