Construction Update: July

Summertime shine calls for a construction site grind! This month the summer sun is keeping us dry and productive. With our toolbelts strapped on and sunscreen ready, we’re taking advantage of the weather and nailing away! Here’s what we’ve been cookin’ up on site…

Fremont (Central Commons – 30 new homes, 2^nd phase): We’re getting higher and higher! We’ve made our way up to the 3^rd floor of framing on the first building of phase two. Our volunteers and Construction Crew have been making terrific progress, getting started with sheathing, stair-building, and drywall texturing.

San Jose (Bridge Housing Communities – 1590 Las Plumas, San Jose): And the momentum keeps building as we continue with cabin assembly for Bridge Housing Communities in San Jose. With some exterior trim, drywall mudding, electric running, metal roofing, wall/floor framing, FRP paneling, desk installations, and wainscot/linoleum fixings (what a mouthful), it’s never a dull day on site.
