January Construction Update

The rain has our boots soggy, but it can't dampen our spirits! Although we've had some site closures due to weather, we have been making great progress recently. Read on for more details!

Oakland - Renovation

We are almost at the finish line on this Manila Avenue renovation, with just a few final items on the punchlist left to be addressed! Soon, this beautiful bungalow will be homeowner-ready. Keep an eye out for a chance to pitch in on the last push before we declare this home complete! 

Walnut Creek - New Home Development, Esperanza Place

Luckily, we have the first two buildings weatherized, because the rain (and hail! and lightning!) has been pushing us inside for some interior pickup framing lately! Things are moving along elsewhere on site, as weather permits. In the shadow of the first buildings' rooftops, we're framing up to the rooftops on one additional building, and up to the second floor on the next. As the weather clears, we'll have plenty of tasks in need of volunteer hands, so join us soon at Esperanza Place to help us out!

San Jose – Renovation 

We should see some activity on site soon as we conduct site and foundation work in preparation for this major renovation! We hope to have our volunteer community out with us this spring to get this historic building ready for four new homeowners. Watch this space for updates!

Bay Point – New Home Development, Pacifica Landing

We’re ready to go, pending final plan approval! Stay tuned for more information on future volunteerism for this new community.
