April Construction Update

Despite the chilly weather of the past few months, our dedicated volunteers have been hard at work on our various construction sites. We are incredibly grateful for their commitment and enthusiasm during the less-than-ideal conditions. With spring finally upon us and perfect building weather ahead, we are excited to welcome even more volunteers to our cause.

Here are this month's advancements on the Habitat construction sites: 

Oakland - Renovation

Construction is complete on this major home renovation in Oakland! We look forward to welcoming home the future homeowners – a wonderful family of five! 

Walnut Creek - New Home Development, Esperanza Place

The Beloved Community Build was just the construction boost we needed! We accomplished a lot of great work thanks to our superb volunteers who dedicated time to help on site.

Now, we keep things moving with siding, exterior trim, pickup framing, and more. If you're itching for a great volunteer opportunity in Walnut Creek, join us!

San Jose – Renovation 

We are closing in on start of construction for this historic 4-home building! Soon, we should have some movement on site, with foundation and soil remediation work. We can't wait to welcome our volunteers in a few months!
