May Construction Update

By Habitat for Humanity East Bay/Silicon Valley

We are missing our volunteers on site! In this construction update, you’ll find videos and photos from site as our staff and AmeriCorps practice safe building. Here’s the rundown on what our team has been up to… but first, a message from our Senior Construction Manager, Ben.

First video - Ben

Fremont (Central Commons – 30 new homes, 2nd phase): We’re keeping busy on site. To echo our amazing crew at Central Commons (check out the video below), we’ve been working on some street paving, painting, drywall, and interior finishes.

Central Commons

San Jose (Bridge Housing Communities – 1590 Las Plumas, San Jose): We’re done with the first six cabins of Site 2, a forthcoming community just a few miles away in San Jose. With those first six complete and the next six under way, we wanted to show you some of the progress we’ve made.
