Cycle of Hope, a charity bike ride that benefits Habitat for Humanity, brings people together to put the “move” in the affordable housing movement.

By riding to raise awareness and fundraising to raise support for Habitat, Cycle of Hope isn't about how many miles you ride (or run, walk, row – you name it!). It’s about how far you’ll go for Habitat's mission.

On October 23, 2022, hundreds of people will gather, in person or virtually, to make a difference and to have a great time doing it. And as we mark our fifth annual event, the community is already eager to get to the start line in Los Altos Hills, CA! With six routes to choose from - Century, Metric Century, 37-miles, 10-miles, and a Kid's Course - and two ways to ride - in-person or virtually - Cycle of Hope is a Bay Area event for the entire family.

It might be the seasoned cyclist riding a full Century, or the novice putting in ten miles in the saddle.

Perhaps it’s an athlete running her heart out for housing or a tricycle brigade proving that even little ones can make a huge impact.

Maybe it’s a group of long-distance friends and family, connecting virtually to do good.

It could be the faith community putting their values into action, or the corporate group getting out of the office while getting to know each other.

However you participate in Cycle of Hope, your ride builds homes and change in our community by directly benefiting Habitat's programs and services.

So, when you ride Cycle of Hope, you ride for a parent with an affordable mortgage, who can lift their thoughts past the end of the month and invest in the future. You ride for a child with the stability to memorize their home address for the first time. You ride for a senior who will age safely in the home and neighborhood they love. You ride for a couple who can stop worrying about debt and start saving for their first home.

Ready to take this housing crisis sitting down (on the seat of your bicycle)? We’ve got ways for you to be a part of the Cycle of Hope community at any skill level, with both in-person and virtual options. Register today for the best possible pricing at HabitatCycleOfHope.org.
