From professional carpenters to bargain hunters, you never know who you’re going to run into at the Habitat for Humanity Restore. Now, we can add famed TV host to the list!

Shoppers at our ReStore in Oakland were quick to pull out their phones for a selfie when one of America’s favorite brothers, Jonathan Scott, walked through our doors!

As Habitat for Humanity’s newest Habitat Humanitarian along with his twin brother, Drew, Jonathan knows the impact shopping at the ReStore has on a family’s life. The Scott brothers know, when they shop at the ReStore for their magazine-ready renovations, they aren’t only getting a good deal but they are also supporting Habitat’s efforts to provide affordable housing opportunities across the country.

Another one of Jonathan’s favorite things about the ReStore is how it gives new and gently used home appliances, building materials, and furniture a second life – keeping more out of our landfills and helping contractors and decorators stay on budget.

Thank you, Jonathan, for visiting our Oakland ReStore and being a great supporter of Habitat’s mission to provide everyone a safe, decent place to live!
