As the warmer months arrive, our construction projects are in full swing. From new builds to renovations and community collaborations, there's plenty to catch up on!
Under Construction
Walnut Creek - New Home Development, Esperanza Place
We're moving fast with this housing development! With seventeen families approved and eagerly watching their neighborhood take shape, we're hard at work selecting homebuyers for the final six homes of Phase One.
The first two buildings in this 42-home affordable townhome development are currently undergoing exterior painting, insulation, drywall installation, and energy-boosting solar panels.
The other two buildings are getting topped with robust roofing, siding, and equipped with integral MEP systems. It's a hive of activity with siding being mounted, paint being brushed on, windows and doors being fitted.
The welcoming parking lot and eco-friendly bioretention basin are shaping up too! Be a part of this development by joining us on site!

San Jose – Renovation, 4th and Reed
Great news! Our Soil Management Plan has received the green light! Over the next few months, we'll be rolling up our sleeves to dive into soil remediation and underground utility work.
From there, the building will be gently lowered onto its foundation. We may not be able to accommodate volunteers at this stage of construction, but stay tuned for future opportunities to get involved by signing up for our monthly volunteer newsletter, "Hammering Home."
San Leandro - New Home Development, Castro Street
As soon as the city stamps its approval on our plans, we can begin working with photovoltaic and solar energy consultants for this carbon positive development!
Hayward - New Home Development, Sequoia Grove
Site remediation is planned to kick off this fall for this this fully electric and EV-friendly Habitat development. We then plan for site work to start early next year followed by welcoming volunteers on site by summer time!
San Jose – New Home Development, Jackson Avenue
Gearing up to submit our construction drawings to the city in late June or early July! It's a pivotal moment where blueprints take flight towards becoming real homes.
