To celebrate Fair Housing Month and to honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., we’re partnering with Bay Area companies and local community organizations to build toward what Dr. King called "the Beloved Community."
The Beloved Community is a fair, just community that celebrates our shared humanity. It is a community built on love - love in action.
Join us on April 1st, 2023 in coming together, celebrating diversity, and building community by spending a day volunteering with us and your fellow community members at our Esperanza Place development in Walnut Creek. Esperanza is Spanish for hope, and hope is what we’re building at the end of the day. This 42-townhome development will provide a stable, affordable mortgage for 42 families that leaves space to grow, save, invest, and build. A community to plant roots in.
Your participation includes:

If you're interested in having your community/social group volunteer for the build, participating as a discussion panelist, or getting your company involved as a sponsoring volunteer group, please complete the inquiry form on this page. A teambuilding coordinator will contact you shortly after with more information and next steps.
