**This class is available not only today but every day on an ongoing basis.**
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Habitat for Humanity's in-person, 8-hour First-Time Homebuyer (FTHB) classes have been suspended and will resume when it is safe again for large group settings.
To continue to serve first-time homebuyers, we are giving a First-Time Homebuyer Class Certificate of Completion to first-time homebuyers who complete an online Homebuyer Education course through eHome America and attend an individual counseling session with one of our HUD-Certified Housing Counselors.
Now, as an online course, you can easily access this comprehensive, fun, and engaging online course 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and complete it at your own pace. Participants learn about the process and responsibilities of buying a home, as well as how to prepare for homeownership all the way beyond the purchase of that home.
Once you complete the online Homebuyer Education course, you can schedule your free, individual counseling session with a Habitat Housing Counselor. Our Housing Counselors will arrange a time meet over video and phone call to review what you learned in the online course and answer any remaining questions you have about buying your first home.
