Current Construction Project Updates

4th and Reed, Home Renovation - San Jose

Siding and roofing are the name of the game at this affordable four-unit home development in San Jose! We're busy painting roof tiles and exterior trim. On top of that, volunteers and staff are working to complete plumbing and electrical by the end of the month. 

Esperanza Place, New Home Development - Walnut Creek

That's a wrap on phase one of this development! These 23 townhomes received their Certificate of Occupancy this week.  Thanks to countless volunteers, staff, and community members, 23 families will soon be moving in and calling this community home! Be on the lookout for Phase Two volunteer opportunities starting this fall.

Sequoia Grove, New Home Development - Hayward

We are excited to bring our Habitat family to the city of Hayward for our newest 10-home development —Sequoia Grove! Right now, our team is doing the dirty work of grading and building an exterior fence. Stay tuned for upcoming volunteer opportunities!

Volunteer at Cycle of Hope!

Volunteers are needed for Habitat for Humanity’s Cycle of Hope fundraising event! Our 7th annual ride for affordable housing is coming up on October 20, 2024, in Dublin, and we need your help - no bike necessary!

Volunteers are needed to help with registration, water stations, the finish line festival, and more. Motorcycle Marshal volunteers are also needed to ride along with the cyclists to direct and monitor rider progress.
