PG&E

A steadfast partner in building homes, communities, and hope

About

partnering for impact.

PG&E has been a valued partner of Habitat for Humanity since 2005, investing more than $4 million to advance affordable, sustainable homeownership in the Bay Area. Long before solar energy became widely adopted, PG&E helped fund Habitat’s earliest solar installations and has continued to fund climate-smart building practices—including Esperanza Place, our 42-home development in Walnut Creek that was our first to meet Zero Net Energy standards.

In addition to their financial investment, PG&E’s partnership is rooted in hands-on engagement through employee volunteerism, team building days, matching gifts, and hours-matching programs—amplifying the impact of every hour served. Together, PG&E and Habitat have worked for more than two decades to strengthen communities, reduce energy burdens for families, and build a more resilient future.

"PG&E has been a partner with Habitat for Humanity across the state of California and in the Bay Area for many, many years... I know how important a safe home is to the well-being of your family. I think that is something that every mom, every dad, every family deserves... I can't wait to continue to support Habitat for Humanity and many more families to come."
