It's no secret that companies who are committed to the community see real benefits to their bottom line. Whether it's a more cohesive and productive workforce, alignment with a nonprofit brand people trust, or attracting talent and customers who share your values—there are plenty of reasons you'd want to get your company involved with Habitat for Humanity.

So how do you get involved with Habitat for Humanity?  There are plenty of ways your company can give, and we'd love to work with you on curating a rewarding partnership that reflects your principles. But, here are three ways lots of companies get started with Habitat, all of which offer unique, rich, and engaging experiences.

Teambuilding Social Post 11. Build homes and connections
Have a team building day on our construction site!

Sponsor a day for your team out on the construction site, building affordable homes with Habitat for Humanity. You don't need any tools or an ounce of experience—just a willingness to learn, an eagerness to collaborate, and a desire to do some good in the community. Our team will take care of the rest. You'll spend a full day learning building skills on the job, working shoulder to shoulder and, most importantly, building truly transformational change by making homeownership affordable for neighbors who don't have the opportunity in our housing market. At the end of the day, you might leave with some sore muscles, but you'll definitely leave with strong bonds built, incredible work achieved, and a world just that much closer to offering everyone a decent place to live.

2. Mix compassion with creativityBank of America - Playhouse Build - Social 4
Build on a more adorable scale—and support Habitat's homebuilding.

Maybe you'd like the experience of getting hands-on as a team, but you've just got a few hours to spare. Or you'd like to flex your creative muscles together. Or you'd like to build in the comfort of our fully-equipped East Bay or South Bay workshop—or, you'd like us to bring a build to you! Sounds like our Playhouse Program might be the best fit for your company. You can spend a half or full day with us, designing, assembling, painting, and decorating a custom kid-sized playhouse for local families and organizations that serve our community. Meanwhile, your sponsorship of a team building day with Playhouse means that little house will build some pretty big dreams—because those proceeds will support Habitat's affordable homebuilding on a much larger scale.

Cycle-Of-Hope-2023-304 (2)3. Make it eventful
Get engaged and find inspiration in meaningful events.

Perhaps it's our annual build focused on the power of women and allies to change the housing crisis. Or our Beloved Community Build, which reflects on Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s vision of a society rooted in love and justice. It could be an interfaith event, or Habitat's huge community cycling benefit, Cycle of Hope. Habitat holds a number of engaging events every year that pull our community together in shared purpose, and our corporate sponsors not only make these events possible—they participate in an experience that promises to inspire, unite, and empower.

Ready to get your company started on partnering with Habitat? Let's get connected, and we'll build great things together.
